Panju and Pingoi in the Rain

This is the first time I'd picked up Fimo in years. My job just ended today, so last night I put together this piece as a thank you present to one of my supervisors, Paul, who has been absolutely fantastic and been like a big brother to me. The cool kind of big brother.

Panju and Pingoi are characters of mine- the muskrat was added in because it added to some personal symbology of the piece (believe it or not). The flowers glow in the dark (something I wanted to add a little more to the idea of magic within the scene), hence their rather odd color. And the gloss is splotchy in some places because I wanted to enhance the idea of the leaves as umbrellas- thus, some parts of Panju and Pingoi would remain dry under their leaves, and exposed parts would get wet from the rain. So yes.

I'm really happy with how it came out. When I was working on it, I was really worried it would come out looking like crap, but, well, I don't think it did. And Paul liked it. n_n I hope you do too.
